Challenge

Many professionals in various fields struggled to communicate with their Spanish-speaking clients and community members, including those in law enforcement, the medical field, and in education. 

 

Solution

I was asked in 2012 to author an eLearning course for ed2go, a leading online continuing education provider, reaching life-long learners in 50 states and more than 16 countries. I started with one course – Spanish for Law Enforcement.

Results

Working with the ed2go team, I created the content of four courses, including Spanish for Law Enforcement, Spanish in the Classroom, and Spanish for Medical Professionals I & II. I continue to facilitate the Discussion Areas to answer questions and comments.
