Challenge

Pronto Spanish was contacted by a “Cheese Company” to provide training for several of their English-speaking employees. They requested a variety of kinds of training to meet different needs.

Solution

This Instructional Design Document (IDD) was created to ensure that Pronto Spanish, the Human Resources Training Manager, and the company President were all on the same page before additional training was developed.

Results

All stakeholders approved the Instructional Design Document and training will be conducted in-person, virtual instructor-led training, and through online modules. (Note that the company name was intentionally omitted for confidentiality reasons.)

Plan

Cheese Company (name changed for confidentialy reasons) contacted Pronto Spanish and requested various forms of Spanish language training to better communication at their workplace.

Design

I designed an Instructional Design Document (IDD) that included the company background, context, training price estimate, course objectives, instructional strategies, development tools, and stakeholder sign-offs.

Develop

This IDD was approved for the training as outlined in the document.
